The term lingual braces refers to the attachment of custom made braces on the inner surface of the tooth, inside the mouth where they are totally inconspicuous.

Traditional fixed braces have the brackets cemented onto the front of the teeth, therefore lingual braces are a cosmetic alternative. However, lingual braces have a lengthier and more difficult treatment time and they may not be suitable for all cases. We will discuss with you during your consultation if lingual braces would be the best course of treatment for your needs.
