Gum Disease Treatment
Periodontal treatment is the clinical term for gum disease treatment. The most common symptoms of periodontal disease include:
- Bad Breath
- Sensitive Teeth
- Loose Teeth
- Bleeding Gums
- Receding Gums
The cause of this is a build-up of plaque or tartar which subsequently damages the teeth and gums. Gum disease may result in bone loss, the formation of cavities and eventual tooth loss.
Although gum disease can be a serious concern, when diagnosed early it can be treated effectively to regain your optimal oral health.
