Emergency dental treatment is available at Cathedral Dental Clinic. We do not want you to suffer in silence or wait it out until regular opening hours. If you are suffering from any of the following it could mean you need to be seen immediately. Please call us so we can assess the situation and get you seen as soon as possible.

Reasons for needing emergency dental treatment:

• Lost Tooth
• Abscessed tooth
• Broken tooth
• Swollen Jaw or Mouth
• Broken or chipped tooth

These are just some examples that need to be dealt with sooner rather than later. If you are in a lot of pain and discomfort please call us. You do not need to be an existing patient for us to help you.

There are two options for your emergency appointment:

Emergency Dentist Appointment
We will endeavour to provide our patients with an emergency dentist appointment within 2 working days. If you are experiencing pain or discomfort, please do not hesitate to contact us as soon as possible to make an appointment. You can call us on 029 2038 2671

Out of Hours Emergency Appointment
For an out of hours emergency dental care appointment for both private and NHS patients please contact the NHS Dental Helpline on you can still call us on 029 2038 2671if we are not available you will be taken to an answerphone message which will give you options to assist you. If needed, we will call you back as soon as we are able.

An emergency appointment is where we are able to see you the same day or the next day. If your current condition is a medical emergency then please go to A+E.
