It would be our pleasure to explain and demonstrate in detail how Dental Implants would provide you with the comfort and security you are looking for.

A Dental Implant is an artificial substitute or replacement of missing teeth. The Implant is anchored into a pre-drilled socket in the jawbone to support an Implant Crown, Implant Bridge or to secure an Implant Denture firmly in place.

The Implants are made from titanium, a biocompatible material that integrates easily with bone tissue. Osseointegration refers to the process in which the implant will fully integrate with the bone, providing a secure and well-supported foundation for an Implant Crown, Bridge or Denture to be placed. Following an extraction or loss of tooth due to an injury, an immediate implant is an option to consider.

There are many advantages of Dental Implants over other dental treatments:

  • Reduced bone loss
  • Improved function
  • Improved dental hygiene
  • No interference to adjacent healthy tooth structure
  • More aesthetically pleasing

Dental Implants may not be suitable for all patients, however there are alternative options in Prosthodontics which will fully restore the functionality and appearance of your teeth.
